2002 – England beat Denmark in the knockouts, sending Brummies into Broad Street and up on the buses.

Some laugh. Some cheer. Some cry. And some instinctively climb the nearest bus when England win a World Cup game, and then do one of the above.

England are taking on the USA in Qatar today, which means plenty of eyes glued onto pub screens in the city centre and beyond. We’ve all been burned by underwhelming England performances, but we keep going back.
